Cosmic Brownies

Ingredients
  

Brownie Base

  • 6 ea Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar Granulated
  • 1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 12 oz Butter Melted
  • 1 3/4 cups Cocoa Powder
  • 1 TBSP Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 cup Flour AP
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Ganache

  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Cup Chocolate Chips

Decoration:

  • 1/2 cup Rainbow Candy Coated Chocolate

Instructions
 

Brownie Base:

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Line with parchment a 9×13″ baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs until fluffy and light yellow. Add both sugars whisking till combined. Add remaining ingredients, and fold till fully incorporated.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 45-55 minutes. Check for doneness with the tried-and-true toothpick method: a toothpick inserted into the center of the pan should come out clean. When it’s done, remove to a rack to cool.

Ganache:

  • In a small pot, heat the heavy cream until it comes to a boil.
  • Place the chocolate chips into a medium sized bowl. Pour the heavy cream over top as soon as it comes to a boil.
  • Allow heavy cream and chocolate chip mixture to sit for approximately 2 minutes for the chocolate chips to start melting.
  • Using a whisk, Gently whisk together the heavy cream and the chocolate chips together until fully combined.

Assembly:

  • Pour the Chocolate Ganache evenly over top the brownies, using a spatula to spread.
  • Once the ganache has set slightly, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle the Rainbow Candy Coated Chocolate over top!
  • Cut to your desired size.
  • Bone Apple Teeth!

I bought the Rainbow Candy Coated Chocolate off of Amazon. You can find them in some stores in the baking aisle as well!
